Men's and Women's Singles Club Championships

The Men’s and Women’s Singles Club Championships will be run the same way as last year. Information is attached. Play will begin on June 15th and will continue throughout the summer. A finals evening will be set in mid-August.

Start Date: June 15th, 2010 (you must be able to play one match every 10 days)

Format:

All players begin in one draw.

If you win or receive a bye in the first round, you will move to the A/B draw. If you lose your first round, you will move to the C/D draw.
If you win your first round in the A/B draw, you will go into the A draw. If you lose, you go into the B draw. After this round, you will be eliminated from the tournament once you lose.
If you win your first round in the C/D draw, you will go into the C draw. If you lose, you go into the D draw. After this round, you will be eliminated from the tournament once you lose.

One match per 10 days (if you can’t meet this requirement you will forfeit the match) with the goal to be done by mid August.
Both players must bring a can of new balls and the winner keeps the unopened can.
All matches up to the semi-finals are 10 game pro-sets with a tie breaker at 9-9. For the semi-finals and finals of each division, best two out of three sets will be used.

Each player is guaranteed three rounds. Players arrange their own matches.

HTC 2009 CLUB TOURNAMENT RESULTS

The Men's Singles Club Championships ran over the summer beginning in mid-June and finishing in September. We had 30 men participate in this event. The results are as follow:

The Men's and Mixed Doubles Club Championships was held as a one day event on Saturday, September 19th. We had a beautiful day and some great tennis! Here were the champions:
