The Hamilton Tennis Club is one of the premier Tennis clubs in the city of Hamilton. The Hamilton Tennis Club is a not for profit organization and celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2008. The HTC is a tennis facility for both recreational and tournament enthusiasts. The club not only fosters excellence in tennis by providing instruction at all levels of play, it also encourages volunteerism, promotes good sportsmanship, physical fitness and fun. The club recognizes the importance of introducing tennis to younger children and teens and currently offers a Junior Tennis Program. Our goal is to continue to expand children’s tennis by offering instruction and free use of our courts to neighbouring schools.

The Hamilton Tennis Club has great facilities such as: 6 quality Hartru clay courts, 2 hard courts, lit courts for night play, no court fees, spacious veranda overlooking all 8 courts, wheelchair access, locker rooms with showers, adjoining running track at HAAA, free parking at Ryerson Recreation Centre, licensed premises with food service, OTA teaching level pros, tennis ladders, players without partners.

Some events we have planned for this season include: Wednesday Leveled Doubles Round Robins, Monday Beginners Round Robins, Open House Round Robin and BBQ, Battle of the Sexes, Tropicana Night, Euchre Nights, End of Season Pot Luck Dinner, as well as the Court Masters Tournament Series
Court Masters Tennis Series | |
The Court Masters will be running our Court Masters Tennis Series again this year. All events will be at the club and we hope to get many people involved from all different clubs.

Marcela & Mischa Mackesy of The Court Masters will be offering a full line up of Adult Clinics, Junior Clinics and Camps in 2010.
Tournaments | |
The Court Masters will be running the club tournaments again this year. Tournaments include Men's and Women's Singles, Men's and Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
Court Master Competitive Doubles House League | |
New this year, the Hamilton Tennis Club will be hosting the Court Masters Doubles House League. This will be a competitive doubles league as each week the participants try to climb their way to the top of the ladder. Your success each week will determine your ranking for the following week.
